Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Procedures

Rhinoplasty is a 1-3 hour-long procedure that is performed in order to improve a patient's overall facial symmetry. Rhinoplasty is performed by a surgeon who gently lifts the skin of the nose and reshapes the bone and cartilage below it in order to create a beautiful nasal contour. Recovery time for rhinoplasty is typically 4-6 weeks, but many patients choose not to return to social activities until full six weeks after the surgery. Rhinoplasty can be performed in a surgeon's on-site medical facility or in a hospital ward. The duration of nose surgery depends upon the surgeon, the patient's initial facial profile, and the patient's desired result. Patients who have received rhinoplasty should consult their plastic surgeons before returning to any intensive activity, such as a strenuous exercise regimen.
